Gobha Clothing is excited to be participating in Marin County Bicycle Coalition's Biketoberfest this Saturday, October 12th. We'll be selling our one and only reversibles as well as our bright selection of cassettes, all amidst the bike and beer centered activities of Biketoberfest.

Biketoberfest is a fundraiser for the Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) and Access4Bikes (A4B). In 2012,  the event drew over 6,000 cycling enthusiasts and raised $50,000 for MCBC and A4B, to continue improving on and off road bicycling conditions and access in Marin.

Biketoberfest will be held at Fair-Anselm Plaza in downtown Fairfax, one of the Bay Area’s most popular bicycling destinations. The event takes place Saturday, Oct.  12, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and features group road and mountain bike rides, live music, great food, family activities, a Cargo Bike Jubilee, bicycle, component, nutrition and athletic attire exhibitors and 20 West Coast brewers serving over 35 beers. It’s a great way to have fun while helping a good cause.

Here is one of our beautiful customers from the San Francisco Bike Expo sporting a baby blue and black casquette. Yes, he already looked good without the hat, but with the hat, his allure is complete!

We're excited to be at the races this Sunday, October 21st, at the second of the Bay Area Super Prestige Cyclocross races at Candlestick Park. These are amazing events, run very professionally by Tom Simpson. We will be there with our hats. Last time we were stationed by the First Aide tent. All I can say is, "Those cyclocross racers are a hardy lot!" And, if it's a hot day, remember to drink lots of water, but also remember that it will turn cold again, so get your hats!

Wheels for Meals - Get Your Hats!

For those of you in the East Bay, we're planning to be out there with our hats this Saturday, October 20th, 2012 supporting the Alameda County Meals on Wheels program that delivers food to homebound seniors and disabled folks. It looks like a big crowd has registered as they've reached their maximum 1,000 capacity. The event takes place at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park,  where there's even a little beach to cool off after the ride.
